Our Editors said: “The Editor’s Choice, as its name suggests, is chosen by our editorial team by scouring through our coverage of 2022, for a company that we believe has had an outstanding year. They might not yet be the biggest or the best in their industry, but we recognise the direction of travel and fully expect to see them back up here on this stage in the future to collect more awards. The winner this year is an SME lender that more than fulfils the above criteria, under the leadership of CEO Richard Davies this company has reached profitability and smashed milestone after milestone…”
Our Editors said: “We were particularly impressed with the contribution this founder and his company have played in improving the health of the broader financial industry, made more acutely important this year after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the ensuing economic sanctions. The company has also been highly successful in growing revenues and awareness of the importance of compliance. However, he is also an impressive serial founder and has invested in many dozens of other fintech companies as well as being a prominent, candid and influential speaker in the wider sector…”
The AltFi Awards will return in 2023.
