The new “Fioneer Embedded Finance as a Service” will facilitate orchestration between SAP users and financial services institutions.
Financial services provider SAP Fioneer is launching an embedded finance as a service platform.
Facilitating connection between financial services institutions (FSIs) and SAP users, the platform will allow FSIs to use the SAP Enterprise resource planning processes to develop embedded finance solutions.
“Businesses seek seamless banking experiences in their B2B transactions and end-to-end processes,” SAP Fioneer CEO Dirk Kruse said.
“Embedded finance offers new possibilities for managing complex business models in a digitized, data-driven commerce environment.”
The launch of the new platform addresses these challenges, according to Kruse.
The new platform’s capabilities can be used to support several use cases, including ‘buy now, pay later’, request to pay, purchase order finance and invoice finance.
SAP Fioneer says the offerings allow businesses to embed financial solutions into business operations, simplifying transaction flows, increasing cash flow visibility and reducing costs.
“By bridging the gap between banks and their corporate clients, we are enabling financial institutions to better serve the needs in a digitised trade environment and stand out in a highly competitive environment,” SAP Fioneer managing director of banking Charlie Platt said.
“With our platform, banks can now directly connect to their clients’ ERP system processes, bringing the two closer together.”
