Monzo lands Curve co-founder as new COO

The challenger bank is gearing up for growth and the rolling out of its current accounts in the second half of 2017.

Tom Foster-Carter (pictured), Co-Founder of fintech spending aggregator Curve, is set join challenger banking star Monzo as chief operating officer overseeing the firm’s massive scaling up process as well as the introduction of its soon to be launched current accounts and overdraft services.

Foster-Carter was briefly also employed by another digital banking challenger Tandem back in 2015 but left just after three months to work on setting up Curve.

He was also the firm’s operations lead and has held similar roles at Osper, a digital challenger bank aimed at he children’s banking market.
