The degrees and postgraduate courses trying to capitalise on the interest in financial technology.

Oxford University made waves in 2017 with the announcement that its Saïd Business School would begin offering a remotely-taught 8-week Fintech short course in partnership with GetSmarter.
Fast-forward two years and today fintech courses and modules are fast becoming a staple at many of the leading UK universities.
But which universities are embracing fintech in their curriculum, and at what academic level?
I thought it might be interesting to look across the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and further education landscape to see just what’s on offer across UK higher education.
Note: This list is not exhaustive. Many universities, especially at undergraduate level, hide their modules on PDFs or behind login gates, making them difficult to discover. The list also explicitly looks for the terms “fintech” or “financial technology” in course descriptions, many other courses cover fintech without using those phrases. Please let me know if I’ve missed anything and I’ll gladly update this list.
A few takeaways from compiling this list:
There is only one university offering a degree in fintech at undergraduate level, Wrexham Glyndŵr University, most others offer it as an optional module in their finance or accounting courses.
Postgraduate study is really where fintech has taken off, with many universities now offering a Masters in fintech or financial technology.
Things get very expensive in further education, with fintech courses from Oxford and Imperial coming with eye-watering price tags (quelle surprise).
