The German SME lender says it is expecting a portfolio of up to €150m, before launching the fund.
The European Investment Fund has provided a €30m cornerstone investment to a new closed-ended Creditshelf fund.
Allowing exposure to German SME loans, the portfolio could reach up to €150m over a 6-year term.
The fund, which is expected to launch toward the end of 2019, has a 1.35 per cent fee and is expected to yield 5 per cent after losses and costs.
