Mintos, a European marketplace for investing in loans, has recently announced the launch of its mobile app.

Currently, the app offers quick access to investor’s accounts and the ability to monitor their investments with the app development team hoping to roll out the full investing experience that investors already experience on the Mintos marketplace.

The Latvian-based platform, which has won several AltFi Awards over the years, hopes that the new app will streamline its services while enhancing accessibility and security at the same time.

Mintos conducted a beta testing round that involved 3,500 users of the platform.

Marcis Gogis, head of product at Mintos and the driving force behind the development of the mobile app, said he was “pleasantly surprised at how active Mintos investors were in their willingness to participate in testing the app and providing extensive feedback”.

Martins Sulte, CEO and co-founder of Mintos, said: “The primary purpose of the Mintos mobile application is to provide investors with faster and easier access to their accounts.”

“In the future, we believe our mobile application might be the primary access for using our services,” Sulte added.

Since 2016, Mintos has won several awards for its marketplace lending service, including four AltFi People’s Choice awards and the Alternative Finance Platform of the Year Award last year.
