Head of Data Risk, Funding Circle UK

Funding Circle wants to help small businesses win. They connect small business owners to investors – to create jobs, support local communities and power economies – because they believe that people are made to do more. They created the leading small business loan platform. At the end of 2020, Investors had lent £11.4 billion in 143,000 loans to 100,000 small business owners globally. There’s never been a better time to join!

Be part of the team that changes everything. Help build the place where small businesses can get the funding they need to win and leave a legacy behind, forever.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the key stakeholders (Data, Operational Risk, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, and Operations) to develop and implement Funding Circle’s data risk management framework and related policies and standards.

They will develop and implement data risk governance structures including roles and responsibilities while ensuring data risks are well understood and integrated as part of FC’s enterprise risk management framework - inclusive of data risk identification, assessment, remediation (as appropriated), monitoring (data risk appetite and data risk metrics) and reporting.

This is an experienced role where you will have earned your stripes in Risk & Controls, as well as data risk management in the financial services industry. Extensive knowledge of data management from both process, technology and regulatory perspective is crucial, as are excellent skills in data risk assessment and analysis, identifying trends and signs of changing risk levels.

Junior Product Designer, Moneybox

MoneyBox is looking for a talented Junior Product Designer to join their team and help shape the vision of our Home-Buying experience. The successful candidate will be embedded within a cross functional mission team, focused on our Home-Buying products and services. The company’s mission is to help turn your money into something greater, and a part of this mission is to help people on their Home-Buying journey.

They’re already helping hundreds of thousands of people save for their first home with our Lifetime ISA account. So far, Moneybox has helped customers buy over £100m worth of property through LISAs, and therefore launching Moneybox Mortgage Service to help people on the next step in their Home-Buying journey is a natural extension of the overall mission.

The Moneybox Mortgage Service helps customers whether they’re buying their first home, next home or remortgaging. The team of mortgage advisers help customers with their mortgage application from start to finish all within the Moneybox app. The goal is to continue to develop this service to meet customers' goals of finding the right mortgage for them.

The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of experience, a portfolio demonstrating your UX design process and visual design of digital products and features for native apps or web. You should have an interest in technology, an eye for detail and a desire to learn on the go and think on your feet. Having illustration skills is desirable but not essential.

Third Party Risk Analyst, Klarna

On their path to becoming the world's favourite way to shop, Klarna is assembling an unparalleled global talent network, accelerating individual careers, and disrupting entire industries. They are on a mission to liberate humanity from all the meaningless time spent managing their purchases and finances, so they can do more of what they love. They are in search of global talent eager to embrace a hypergrowth atmosphere and defy their own expectations.

They are looking for ambitious people with significant drive! They need problem solvers, initiative takers, people that see opportunities and potential to improve. You should be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast paced international working environment. You will play an important role in taking Klarna to the next level - thus, you should desire to go above and beyond to deliver and grow as an individual. At Klarna they embrace change, you should dare to challenge the status quo and be persistent in doing so.

Klarna offers you a dynamic and challenging role in a fast-growing company. You will be part of the Procurement team and be a part-responsible process stakeholder of Regulatory Outsourcing across all markets, and collaborating with colleagues in Sweden, Germany, UK and US. Responsibilities include ensuring that outsourcing arrangements, suppliers and contracts are tracked as well as collaborating with compliance functions to ensure proper filing with regulatory authorities. You will also work together with other teams and stakeholders globally; performing critical assessments as well as assisting contract owners with risk assessments.
