Ian, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, is a seasoned investment professional with over 30 years’ experience within the hedge fund and derivatives trading industry. As former Group CEO of Ermitage Ltd, a holding company for regulated fund management activities in the USA, UK and Jersey, he has chaired operating subsidiaries and boards of several investment funds (CTA, Macro, Merger Arbitrage & Long-Short Equity Strategies) and led the various M&A initiatives of the Ermitage Group during the period he was CEO. At Ermitage Ian and the team built proprietary investment software, elements of which was sold to CalPERS in the USA, one of the world’s largest public pension funds.
