Open Banking Implementation Entity


Imran has worked in the financial services sector for over 20 years, eight years of which included investing in the FinTech sector. He is a former Partner of Ernst & Young (EY) where he was also Global Head of FinTech. In 2017, Imran was appointed Implementation Trustee for the Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE). He is the co-founder of CommuterClub, a FinTech 50 start-up which helps commuters to access savings for annual travel season tickets. He was awarded an OBE in the 2017 New Year’s Honours list for his contribution to the financial services sector and is a Board Member of The Charity Commission for England and Wales.
