In her current role at Credit Karma Canada Monisha leads business development, focusing on scaling at pace while furthering Credit Karma’s founding mission to champion financial progress for all. Credit Karma provides its members with personalized recommendations for credit cards while reducing marketing inefficiency for financial institutions. Monisha has held leadership roles at Manulife John Hancock, RBC Royal Bank, GE Capital and Genworth Financial across North America and Asia spanning several verticals including credit cards, mutual fund investments, insurance, infrastructure financing and private equity. She has expertise helping large financial services organizations pivot given forces of change. She has successfully led multi-million dollar programs launching new products, developed omni-channel strategies that focus on integrated human / digital partnership to enable the future of retail banking, and brought new ideas to life by leveraging in-house incubators and partnering with start-ups. She is a CFA charterholder and holds a Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. She graduated as a Palmer Scholar with her MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Monisha is an active startup mentor and enjoys giving back to the fintech community.
