Tal Morgenstern is a Principal in the Finance & Risk practice in Oliver Wyman’s Sydney Office. Tal has more than 7 years of experience in consulting to leading Banking institutions in Asia, with a focus on Capital Market Risks in Australia Prior to working as a consultant, Tal occupied several positions in the Risk Management space at Banco Itau. His last role was as Head of Risk Control for Argentina managing the market risk, credit risk, risk modelling and asset management teams. As part of his responsibilities, he was chairman of Risk Control committee and active member of the ALCO, Regional Market and Liquidity Risk committees Tal has an Actuarial degree from the University of Buenos Aires and he is a qualified actuary Argentina member of the Professional Board on Economic Sciences. He is also a member of the Society of Actuaries (USA) and a PhD Candidate in Financial Mathematics at University of Sydney
